Mr. Mom (1983) A classic piece of misandrist (male-bashing) trash depicting men as incompetent buffoons. It is supposed to show how "women's work" is harder than men's work. The husband, finds himself unemployed and in the role of house husband while his wife assumes the traditional male role - going off to work at a job outside the home.
The wife (played by Teri Garr) enjoys a life of carefree luxury and ease when all she has to do is work at a job outside the home. The man (played by Michael Keaton) has the opposite experience, learning the important lesson that the work of a stay-at-home mom is a thousand times harder than any man's job.
This movie comes pretty close to "Fried Green Tomatoes" as the most misandrist classic film of all time. - Reviewed by: Crankcase
